The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco just now shared a video from the exact moment she found out that she was nominated for a 2021 Golden Globe for her performance in The Flight Attendant. The actress shared two separate videos, the first showing when her reaction real-time to her nomination, the second where she is just taking it all in!
This is a big win for the actress, this marks Kalye’s first-ever Golden Globe nomination and she’ll be competing against Emily in Paris‘ Lily Collins, The Great‘s Elle Fanning, Schitt’s Creek‘s Catherine O’Hara and Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist‘s Jane Levy.
If you missed it, the 2021 Golden Globes nominations were revealed earlier this morning, and there are so many talented stars nominated this year. However, like always, there have been so many snubs that fans are devastated by. Fans were left upset when many of their beloved films and shows didn’t get a single mention in the nominations. Shows like Bridgerton, I May Destroy You, Never Have I Ever; Plus movies like Malcolm & Marie, The Prom, Da 5 Bloods, News Of The World, Minari, The Midnight Sky, Tenet were all snubbed.
For the unversed, the ceremony will be much different this year in light of COVID. The show this year is taking place weeks after it was intended. The Globes will air live from both coasts on February 28 to enforce social distancing during the global pandemic, where gatherings are not recommended. The show will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler after their well-received appearance in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
