Jennifer Lopez and Shakira caused a frenzy among fans on Friday when it was announced that the singers will be taking the stage this year for the highly anticipated Super Bowl. The halftime show which is a ritual has the best of artists belting out their hit numbers and this time we will see the two superstar singers take the stage by storm. Apart from fans, there was one super excited fan who is really looking forward to the performance. Jennifer Lopez's fiance Alex Rodriguez took to Instagram to share his excitement.
The professional baseball player wrote, "So proud and SO EXCITED! Bringing it home! Going to set the #305 on #repost @jlo Going to set the world on (fire) @shakira #SuperBowlLIV." The Super Bowl is set to take place on February 2, 2020 in Miami, where the former Yankee grew up.
Alex Rodriguez, 44, often posts photos in support of his future wife. Just recently, he professed his love for Lopez including the iconic moment where she walked at the Milan Fashion Week in the iconic Jungle dress. Alex shared an unseen BTS pictures of the singer in the dress and went gaga over her look.
The couple got engaged earlier this year in March 2019 when Alex popped the question on their Bahamas vacation. However, the marriage date is not yet set as the couple are taking some time to plan things out. Jennifer turned 50th last month and her extravagant birthday bash was the talk of the town. Since they began dating in February 2017, Lopez and Rodriguez have both been focused on blending their families.
