Jon Moxley felt naked wrestling without his jeans during NJPW match against Juice Robinson

Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, is living proof that there is life breathing outside of WWE. It came a shocker to many when it was revealed that Dean was done with the company post his contract getting expired. At AEW's All or Nothing PPV, Jon made a surprise appearance and ambushed both Chris Jericho as well as Kenny Omega. Simultaneously, Moxley also appeared on NJPW's  Best of the Super Jr. 26 Finals, where he wrestled Juice Robinson and made history winning the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

However, wrestling fans noticed that for the match, Jon let go of his jeans and switched to wrestling shorts. When NJPW's official website quizzed Moxley about his change in wrestling gear, the wrestler stated that he wanted to change his look. When he was in WWE, he chose to wear jeans because he wanted to be the opposite of everybody else who had fancy tights on. He was looking for a more grungy and street fighter type of look. "But wrestling in jeans, honestly, it sucks. They’re hot, sweaty, hard to move in. I’m done with wrestling in jeans! It’s so much easier to wrestle in tights," Jon stated.

Moxley further spoke about the boots situation which was a nightmare just before he actually wrestled. He had bought a pair which didn't fit right and then he tried another one but to no avail as they were too clunky. Eventually, Jon went ahead with regular wrestling shoes.

"When I looked in the mirror before I went out, I felt naked because I was so used to wrestling in jeans. So I knew then that it would cause a reaction, and be a bit of a shock," Moxley revealed.
