In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, candidly admitted that he had already written he had already written four episodes of the latest season of The Mandalorian, which is part of the Star Wars series. The actor said that he had agreed to do the series with Disney only if they did it the way he had originally envisaged it. Jon also says that he was very keen on doing it, but it had to happen the way he had sketched it out.
The Spider Man: Far From Home actor also has some very interesting projects in his kitty. When the actor was questioned about not directing the episode for The Mandalorian, he says that the kind of story based on Star Wars that he was keen on telling would be on a smaller scale unlike the big theatre release which is not what he was looking at. Jon Favreau is donning the hat of a executive producer for The Mandalorian. The actor-writer-director-producer was also busy with Lion King which acted like his full-time job for a couple of years.
Jon Favreau spoke about the on-going dispute between Disney and Sony in an interview to Variety. The actor said he was rather hopeful of the iconic character staying in MCU at a time when the fans were terribly shocked to hear about Sony decision to not allow Spider Man to be a part of Marvel any more. This news shocked the fans in the world, who did not in any manner wished to see Spider Man walking out of MCU.
