Estranged partners Johnny Depp and ex-wife Amber Heard have been embroiled in an ugly defamation case after the actress in 2016 accused her then husband Depp of domestic abuse. The latter always denied Heard's allegations on him. In her article, she wrote for The Washington Post, Amber Heard had mentioned that after accusing her ex-husband of domestic abuse, she had lost out on several job opportunities. The war of words still continues to escalate and has now even gotten ugly.

In the latest round of hearings, the Pirates of the Carribean star has alleged that Heard "painted on bruises" and that she caused him "serious bodily injury." He further claims that her actions took place while she was under the influence of a mix of "prescription amphetamines and non-prescription drugs with alcohol." He alleges that incidences of abuse took place on multiple occasions, and with a variety of weapons, including soda cans and paint thinner cans, reported E!News.

The allegations did not end there and Depp even said that it was not just physical abuse but emotional as well. He recalled a certain incident when Amber or one of her friend allegedly "defecated" in his bed as "some sort of a sick prank." The allegations were shocking to say the least and Depp added that this latest event was the last straw.

Whereas Amber Heard on her part has submitted documents which include photos of her bruises, pictures of property damage she blames on Depp, screenshots of text messages describing the incidents and excerpts of her divorce deposition, in which she talks about the alleged abuse. While the estranged couple settled their divorce in 2016, they continue to engage in a war of words.
