John Cena celebrates 17 years of WWE journey; begins shooting for Fast & Furious 9
John Cena took to Twitter to commemorate his 17-year journey with WWE and stated that it's far from over. The actor also revealed that he has kickstarted shooting for Fast & Furious 9, starring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.
17 years ago, Kurt Angle demanded to fight a wrestler who was worthy of his time during an episode of WWE Smackdown. An unknown 'green' kid in wrestling tights named John Cena accepted the challenge and when the Olympic Gold winner asked the youngster what it was about him that made him eligible to fight the best in the business, Cena replied, "Ruthless Aggression," and decked the best in the business! John may not have won the first bout, but 17 years later, he is considered in the Mount Rushmore of WWE as the face that runs the place!
Celebrating his 17th year anniversary with WWE, Cena took to Twitter to write about his journey. John also revealed that he had kickstarted another journey - Fast & Furious 9. The wrestler tweeted, "17 years ago today my @WWE journey began. It is FAR from over and has greatly changed over the years. It has given me chances to be brave and vulnerable. Today #FastAndFurious journey begins. Fear, the unknown, growth, and maybe a haircut await. Adapt. Overcome. Never Give Up."
