Jennifer Lopez is soon approaching her 50th birthday but even today the super fit singer can give the younger musicians a run for their money. This was evident on Saturday when the 'On The Floor' singer was performing to a packed auditorium in Manhattan. However, things did not go as planned as a major Manhattan power outage spread across the borough including Madison Square Garden where Lopez was performing. The venue was immediately evacuated and fans had to return home disappointed.

Jennifer Lopez was equally disheartened and took to Instagram to apologize to her fans. “I just don’t even know what to say. I just want you guys to know that you’re gonna get your money’s worth — that we are going to come back and do an amazing show for you. I am so sorry that this happened,” she said.

“I love you. I’m sorry. And I’ll see you all very soon," the singer added. Manhattan soon became a Twitter trend as citizens began sharing pictures and videos of the power outage. At the concert, JLo had only performed around four songs when the venue was evacuated as there was a black out. Disappointed fans also took to Twitter to share the news.
