Jennifer Lopez shares about her 'weird' electric moment with beau Alex Rodriguez back in 2005
The couple are now opening up about their relationship. Alex, who appears on the cover of this month's Sports Illustrated in a special 'Where Are They Now?' issue, recalled the first time they met.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are one of the most hot-shot couple in Hollywood. With Jennifer's stunner looks coupled with Alex's smart style, the couple make heads turn with their appearances. The couple are now opening up about their relationship. Alex, who appears on the cover of this month's Sports Illustrated in a special 'Where Are They Now?' issue, recalled the first time they met. Speaking about it, Jennifer Lopez revealed that Alex and she first met in 2005 when the stars were married to different people at the time.
Jennifer said, "We shook hands, and it was this weird electricity for, like, three seconds. Three to five seconds of looking at somebody right in their eyes, and getting stuck." Moving on, years later, the single stars again bumped into each other at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Alex and Jennifer then chatted and that led to a dinner date.
During the date, Alex got up to use the restroom, where he sent Jennifer a text message that read, "YOU LOOK SEXY AS F--K." Jennifer shares, "Actually, it was good game, because it was very unexpected and it was super flattering. I wasn't dressed very sexy." Since then, Alex and Jennifer have had a whirlwind romance and their respective kids get on like a house of fire.
The couple got engaged earlier this year in March 2019 when Alex popped the question on their Bahamas vacation. However, the marriage date is not yet set as the couple are taking some time to plan things out.
