Jennifer Lawrence is 'damned' as new mum Amy Schumer leaves her hanging in hilarious text banter

Jennifer Lawrence was in desperate need for some girl talk but looks like she is still adjusting to her bestie Amy Schumer's motherhood. Actress and comidienne Amy welcomed her first child, son Gene Attell Fischer, last month and the newborn has undoubtedly kept her busy. This was proven to be true when Jennifer reached out to Amy to discuss about The Handmaid's Tale. Amy took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the series of texts sent by Lawrence and the hilarious conversation.

Lawrence was one of those friends who repeatedly keeps texting when there is no reply from the opposite person. "You up? I have questions about hand maids take. Tale," Jennifer Lawrence texted. The Oscar winner further went on to write, "It's an emergency."  She continued, "Amy!!! What did she do on season 1 to deserve being in the gallows on season 2." 

"I can't remember where I left off. Are you asleep bc of the baby??? Are you asleep before 11? Is this bc of the baby? Don't make me resent the baby." "Wow," Lawrence wrote after her inquiry went unanswered. "Ur really asleep before 11. I'll be damned." 

Amy kept the Hunger Games star hanging for a while before she replied. Amy said, "Hi. I'm awake. She ran away." The actress posted a screenshot on her Instagram story and captioned the image, "Everybody keeping their cool about me having a baby." The hilarious banter was clearly unmissable.  

Just last week, Amy had shared a picture with her adorable little son and shared how she won't be able to watch the show anymore.
