Come September and it will be 25 years since Friends first aired on American television. For ten long years, the show gave us friendship, relationship and roommate goals. The show ended 15 years ago but we find ourselves making our way back to Monica Geller, Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Pheobe Buffay, Chandler Bing and Joey Tribbiani for comfort. With every rerun, we miss the six on-screen friends. Turns out, we aren't the only ones. Jennifer Aniston, who essayed the role of Rachel, on the show, recently confessed she misses working with the team.

Featuring in In Style Magazine's new Anniversary Issue, the actress spoke about how she gained confidence when she featured on the show. She said that the show was an "ultimate trust exercise." She remembers how each one of them, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, held each other through the decade.

"I started to find my confidence when I was on Friends, for sure. In a way, being on that show was the ultimate trust exercise. There was comfort in numbers there, so we all held each other up. I miss a lot about that time. Having a job that was absolute, pure joy. I miss getting to be with people I love massively and respect beyond words. So, yes, these days I’m super nostalgic. Anything can make me go, “Aww," she said.

She went on to recall the iconic picture Courteney Cox shared on her Instagram showcasing the cast on board before Friends' first season aired. "When Friends began [in 1994], we were all so wide-eyed and bushy-tailed. We couldn’t believe what was happening, and we had no idea what was coming. On Instagram, Courteney recently posted an old photo of all of us on a jet together before the show had even aired. I just remember not understanding that this was my life. The level of gratitude, my god," she recalls.

Jen feels she's at a better place now, professionally, "I’m at a place now where I actually feel like I’ve grown up and entered into who I am creatively. It’s taken me this long to know what I’m capable of. I didn’t always know. I think I used to put a lot of that in the hands of other people. Now I’m taking ownership of it. And you know what? It feels really good," she said.

Dear Jen, can you please just get the gang together and host that reunion already? Wouldn't you want a reunion? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
