Janet Jackson REACTS to Justin Timberlake’s public apology; Says ‘never thought that this would happen’

After Justin Timberlake’s public apology to Janet Jackson and Britney Spears, Jackson is finally reacting to it! In her acknowledgement, the 54-year-old Jackson took to Twitter and shared a message to her fans for all of their love and support over these past few days. “I was at home just the other day by myself and I began to cry. I was crying because I was so thankful for all that God has blessed me with. All that he has given me. For Him being in my life,” Janet says in the video.

“And I am so thankful for all of you being in my life. You’re so special to me,” Janet continued. “And I want to thank all of you for making ‘Control’ number one once again after 35 years. I never in a million years, I would never think that this would happen. I really appreciate you and I love you so, so much. Thank you.” Janet never directly referenced the apology from the 40-year-old former *NSYNC member.

Timberlake was recently under fire after the release of Britney Spears’ documentary--Framing Britney Spears which highlighted his treatment of Britney Spears after their breakup in 2002. Fans also demanded that he also apologize to Janet over his actions following their infamous 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show, at the end of their performance, Justin ripped off a part of Janet’s top which exposed her breast. Speaking to Oprah in 2006, Janet said that the incident wasn’t planned: “He was to take and rip the piece that he did but more came off than was supposed to… it was a very embarrassing moment”.
