Lou Ferrigno said that Mark is a wonderful actor but he can't take him seriously as Hulk. Read to know why he said that.
Mark Ruffalo is loved for his powerful portrayal of Hulk for MCU. He first appeared as Hulk in the film The Avengers in 2012. He replaced actor Edward Norton who first played giant green superhero for Marvel.
Even before the film, actor Lou Ferrigno had also played the character of Dr Bruce Banner aka Hulk. Lou played Hulk in 1978 for CBS television series called The Incredible Hulk. As reported by Comicbook.com, Lou Ferrigno said that he can't take Mark Ruffalo seriously as Hulk.
Lou said that Mark is a wonderful actor. He added that different actors have played Hulk and he likes Bill Bixby and Edward Norton the best. And despite being a wonderful actor and blending with Marvel's aspect of Avengers, Lou said that he can't take Mark Ruffalo seriously enough as Hulk.

Ferrigno added that Bill has that intensity and one can sense when he was in danger. But with Disney and MMarvel, the character has taken a different direction. He feels these Hulk can't be taken as seriously as the original series.
