Hollywood Newsmakers of the Week: Spider Man back in MCU, Baby Archie in Africa, BTS' Jungkook, J Hope and V
It was a busy week in Hollywood. From Batman and Spider-Man to the BTS, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Baby Archie, and Brad Pitt's dating life, here are the biggest newsmakers of the week.
We are back with another week of Hollywood round-up in our weekly segment: Hollywood Newsmakers of the Week. For those who are new, Pinkvilla takes you through the biggest news of the week. This week, several events unfolded. It began with the star-studded Emmys 2019. The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards saw the best of television celebrated. Chernobyl and Fleabag took home the big awards while Game of Thrones settled with Outstanding Drama Series and Supporting Actor in a Drama Series despite 32 nods. But fans were thrilled to see the cast of Game of Thrones reuniting.
As we sailed through the week, Hailey Baldwin grabbed some eyeballs when she liked a picture featuring Selena Gomez. The singer joined her best friends for the first episode of her BFF Raquelle Stevens' series titled Giving Back Generation. Hailey liked the picture and caused a frenzy.
We ended the week on a high note thanks to Marvel Studios. The famous superhero movies production house, along with Sony, announced that they will be a part of Tom Holland's Spider-Man 3. This led to celebrations online. Here are the other newsmakers of the week from the world of Hollywood:
Batman:
Robert Pattinson's The Batman has tapped on to Jonah Hill for a negative role. As per reports, the actor is in the talks to play a famous Batman villain. Nope, it's not Joker. It is also said that the actor is demanding more than double of Pattinson's pay in the movie. Read all about it here: Batman: Jonah Hill demands more than double of Robert Pattinson's pay in Matt Reeves' directorial?
Spider-Man no longer far from home:
At the dawn of the weekend, Marvel Studios and Sony revealed that they will be collaborating for one more Spider-Man movie. The news led to an epic reaction from Tom Holland, Zendaya and others. Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin:

Selena made the headlines for her confession about struggling through mental health issues. She said she was "mentally" and "emotionally" struggling in 2018. Meanwhile, Justin and Hailey have been the talk of the town for their second wedding. Kendall Jenner and other of Hailey's friends threw an epic party for the bride-to-be and the photos left Justin Bieber fans excited.
Brad Pitt's dating life:

Fans of the 55-year-old star were in shock when they learned that Brad is dating jewellery designer and holistic healer Sat Hari Khalsa. Sources told Us Weekly that Brad is officially off-the-market. However, the rumours were turned down eventually.
Game of Thrones:
Apart from their Emmys 2019 victory, the HBO show made the headlines after the cast addressed the controversy over the final season. While Kit Harington confessed he had not seen the final season of the show yet, Emilia Clarke found the backlash "flattering." She told Variety, "It was profoundly flattering. Because when someone cares that much, that they're ready to make such a noise about how they believe how the characters should have been finished, and how the story should have gone, that's just enormously flattering. That just shows how much everybody loved it."
Kit and Sophie also made the headlines for their long hug at the time of their reunion.

Baby Archie in Africa:
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently on a royal tour in South Africa. While we've been getting a glimpse at the Duchess and Duke of Sussex over the week, royal fans were on cloud nine when videos of baby Archie meeting Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe were shared on social media and the internet had a meltdown. The adorable munchkin won over everyone's hearts.
BTS' Jungkook, J-Hope and V:
It feels like our weeks are incomplete without a dash of BTS. The K-Pop singers reunited after their hiatus last week. But we are still unaware of their whereabouts. While we cannot wait to see what the Korean singers are up to, the management behind the band has been making our wait less stressful by dropping videos of singers. Earlier this week, they shared a video featuring Jungkook and V aka Kim Tae-hyung singing to Justin Bieber's Love Yourself and Jason Mraz' I'm Yours, respectively. J-Hope then got fans participating in the #CNSChallenge after he and Becky G dropped the Chick Noodle Soup song.
