Hobbs & Shaw: X Rated scenes from Fast & Furious spinoff CHOPPED? Jason Statham spills the beans
Hobbs & Shaw releases soon. The movie is expected to host some interesting action sequences. However, Jason Statham reveals that most of it were cut from the final film.
Fast And Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw releases in a few days. The first spin-off from the famous series will see Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Jason Statham reprise their roles as Hobbs & Shaw for an action-packed movie. The duo will be seen teaming up to fight against Brixton Lore, played by Idris Elba. The film premiered in Hollywood recently with the cast and crew of the movie walked the red carpet. While we wait for the reviews, it has been revealed that Hobbs & Shaw will be heading to cinemas with a PG-13 rating.
While the trailer hints some funny moments in the movie, Statham recently revealed that there were a few X-Rated scenes in the movie. But they were apparently chopped. The actor, who plays Deckard Shaw in the movie, revealed that there was a lot of fight sequences in the movie. "We got a lot of it," Statham said at the premiere, ComicBook.com reported.
The actor added that there were many scenes that did not make it to the movie. "A lot of it didn't make the movie. Too X-rated. We have to snip, snip, snip all of the good stuff out and save it for the DVD. I guess censorship kind of gets in the way of the fun sometimes," he said.
The action sequence has been shot by Deadpool 2's David Leitch. The filmmaker goes behind the camera for the first time for a Fast & Furious movie. Speaking about the action sequences in the movie, he said, "You're gonna see some great fight scenes in the style of Atomic Blonde or John Wick but you're also gonna see your epic car action that you know from a fast movie, your CG set pieces that do things that defy gravity. We really wanted to merge the creativity of what I do and what the fans in the Fast world have always loved."
