Hobbs & Shaw Box Office Collections Day 4 India: Dwayne Johnson starrer witnesses a DROP on Monday
Hobbs & Shaw has not performed as per expectations in India. The movie, which stars Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham in the lead, witnessed a drop in the box office collection on Day 4.
Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham starrer Hobbs & Shaw witnesses a drop on its Day 4 at the box office collection in India. The Fast & Furious spin-off released in India over the weekend. After recording the second-highest opening day collection for a Hollywood movie in the country, the movie held a stagnant position at the box office. The movie saw a bare-minimal increase on Saturday and Sunday. However, on its first Monday at the box office, the David Leitch directorial witnessed a huge drop.
According to Box Office India, Hobbs & Shaw earned only Rs 5 crore on Monday, Day 4. The movie witnessed as high as a 55 percent drop from its collections recorded on Friday, Day 1. With this collection, BOI reports that the movie stands minimal chances of beating the previous Fast & Furious movies - Fast & Furious 7 and The Fate of the Furious - in India.
"The fall is on the wrong side of 50%. The collections of the film so far are around 42 crore nett and the first week should finish at around 55 crore nett," the website notes. The day-to-day collections of Hobbs & Shaw are:
Day 1, Friday - 11 crore
Day 2, Saturday - 11.75 crore
Day 3, Sunday - 14.25 crore
Day 4, Monday - 5 crore
On the international front, Hobbs & Shaw has already minted USD120 million. This collection is sans the China box office collections. The movie is yet to hit the kingdom.
