Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter stepped out for the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night and sent the paparazzi into a tizzy.
Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter are going all out since they split from their respective husbands. There are not shying away from PDA nor have they confirmed their relationship status. The controversial stars stepped out for the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night and apart from giving a solid performance of her new single 'Slide Away', Miley and Kaitlynn sent the paparazzi into a tizzy. Before Miley could get on stage, Kaitlynn was there to support the 'Wrecking Ball' singer backstage and Page Six spotted Cyrus planting a kiss on Kaitlynn's cheeks.
While they did not make a red carpet appearance, Miley and Kaitlynn were later spotted walking hand-in-hand while they were on their way to an after-party with Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus. Pictures of the duo entering the after-party show the girls holding on to each other as they entered the club.
They were there to celebrate Miley's dad Billy Ray Cyrus and country rapper Lil Nas X's success for 'Old Town Road'. The duo received a plaque from label boss Ron Perry as it became the longest-running No. 1 track in the history of the Billboard charts. Miley and Kaitlynn's whirlwind friendship has attracted attention from all over as the duo were spotted making out on their Italian vacation just a day after the singer's representative announced her split with Liam Hemsworth.
Liam also confirmed the split in a separate Instagram post and filed for divorce a few days later citing "irreconcilable differences". “She (Miley) didn’t expect it and is a bit disappointed, but she is still doing well and has obviously moved on as well,” a source told People.
