International pop stars Katy Perry and Dua Lipa took Mumbai by storm over the weekend as they delivered a power-packed performance in the city and enthralled scores of young fans. From partying with Bollywood bigwigs at Karan Johar's bash to making fans go crazy, Katy Perry had a crazy few days in the city of dreams. However, Perry's exit from the country has now garnered some ugly attention. The incident took place when the 'Roar' singer was leaving India and was snapped at the airport by the paparazzi. 

However, the international singer was seen walking past airport security without showing valid documents like a passport. Not just Perry, but her crew alongside also failed to present any documents. The move was obviously met with poor taste among Indian netizens who called out the pop star for not following security protocol. 

One user wrote, "This utter disregard of airport security check should be brought to the notice of administrators." Another user recalled Shah Rukh Khan's airport security incident and commented, "They should respect our law....very shameful act, remember shahrukh Khan incident." Many were left wondering what the consequences would have been if the singer had attempted to do something similar in her home country.

"In her country she would have reprimanded for ignoring the police request to show documents," a social media user noted. "It's so pathetic to see how they pass the security personnel.." another viewer added. "Yes she is an international superstar but that gives her no right to disobey Indian laws and security protocols," another observer commented.
