Harry Styles takes a dig at Zayn Malik while showering Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson with love
Harry Styles hosted and performed on Saturday Night Live this weekend. The singer brought up One Direction, got fans excited at the thought of a reunion and poked fun at Zayn Malik.
Harry Styles made his Saturday Night Live! debut this weekend and made sure he gives One Direction fans to talk about. The international singer, who is on the heels of releasing his new album Fine Line, not only performed on the show but also hosted the show. The singer began the show with a monologue and it is going to be something Directioners are going to revisit for weeks to come. The 25-year-old singer began his monologue by taking a dig at his dating life.
Harry, who was styled in a beige jacket, blue shirt and yellow slacks, sat down on a black piano to ease himself into the episode. He broke the ice by "playing" a light jazz tune. He went on to compare his SNL appearance with his relationships: "one incredible night together and then never see each other again."
When Harry is in the house, it is obvious that One Direction was going to be discussed. Harry then brought up One Direction and said, "I'm not in a boy band anymore. I'm in a man band," before he teased the possibilities of the other band members - Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik - being present at the venue. "How crazy would it be if they were here tonight?" Harry said, causing an uproar. He then assured that they weren't aka breaking our hearts. "They're not though. But wouldn't it be crazy if they were? But They're not," he added.

Not a nice way to tease a reunion, Harry! Before he concluded his monologue, he showered some love on the band members and poke some fun at Zayn. "I love those guys. Niall, Liam, Louis..." Styles said, before he faked his struggle to remember Zayn and ended up saying, "Uh.. Ringo! Yeah, that's it." There is no denying it was a great start to his debut.
