Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming film which is an Elvis Presley biopic is looking for its leading man. Yes, the team is working very hard to get the perfect man for this role as per the reports in Hollywood Reporter. The report further says that five actors have done the screen-tested so far to play this role. The list of close contenders of the leading man include Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller and Harry Styles, Austin Butler of the The Shannara Chronicles and Aaron Taylor-Johnson of Avengers: Age of Ultron fame. The fans of Harry Styles would do whatever it takes to see the singer turned actor in a pristine white sequined jumpsuit.
As per the reports in Hollywood Reporter these five actors are extremely close to essaying the King of Rock and Roll. The shortlisted actors currently have some big budget films in their kitty. Ansel Elgort will be starring in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story film. Miles Teller has got Top Gun sequel to do and Butler as per the Hollywood Reporter has a part in Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood. The reports claim that the screen testing started last week onwards and a final decision will be taken in the next few weeks. This film will portray the journey of Elvis Presley's life.
