The Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis who essayed the character named Neville Longbottom tweeted saying that the original cast members of the Harry Potter films will be reuniting for a new film in the year 2020. The actor further mentioned that the original cast members of the Harry Potter films will be shooting for the new film from 2020. The actor who essayed the role of Neville Longbottom, added an additional link in the tweet. The fans and film audience across the globe got very excited about the film and started commenting on the actor's tweet. But, the situation took a twist when the fans clicked on the link shared by the Harry Potter star. Much to the surprise of the fans and audience members who are eager to see a new Harry Potter film, the link was directed towards a voting registration page for the upcoming elections in the United Kingdom.
The Harry Potter actor, Matthew Lewis is known to be actively involved in the political scene in the UK and is often seen commenting on matters of UK politics. Many fans were left disappointed and expressed their displeasure on the actor's so-called prank. The fans also mentioned that the actor should not have tricked them into believing that an actual film with the original Harry Potter star cast was in the works.
