November 12 marks as Anne Hathaway’s 37th birthday. She was one of the highest paid actors in the world in 2015. Hathaway has received several awards including an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe. Her films have earned over USD 6.8 billion worldwide and she was listed in the Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2009. When she was a teenager, she was cast in the TV series Get Real.
Anne Hathaway got her breakthrough in her debut movie called Princess Diaries (2001). Hathaway has served as a long-term advocate for the Nike Foundation to raise awareness against child marriage. She spent a week in Nicaragua to help vaccinate children against hepatitis A, in July 2006. She also travelled to Kenya and Ethiopia to take note on the rights of women and girls.

Another movie of Hathaway that was successful. The film grossed over USD 300 million worldwide, with its USD 41 million budget. Elizabeth Gabler, Fox Production Chief says the studio did not realize how strong her audience was after the Princess Diaries movies. Hathaway as Andy did a marvelous job in the movie.

Anne was one of the lead’s amongst other actors in this movie. In the movie, she portrayed a movie actor who helps group of women led by Debbie Ocean, the sister of Danny Ocean, who plans a sophisticated heist of the annual Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Hathaway starred in this movie alongside Kate Hudson. The movie revolves around two childhood best friends who are about to get married on the same day, leading to hilarious outcome. The movie was a financial success even after negative reviews.
