The Gray Man: Bridgerton's Regé-Jean Page joins Ryan Gosling & Chris Evans in Russo Brothers' action thriller
The Gray Man starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana De Armas and Dhanush among others is set to kick off in Los Angeles in 2 weeks time.
Netflix is turning the tide in digital entertainment and after giving us the intense and action-packed Extraction, the Russo Brothers are teaming up for yet another project. Titled The Gray Man, the production starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana De Armas, Dhanush, Wagner Moura, Jessica Henwick and Julia Butters is set to kick off in Los Angeles in two weeks time, reports Deadline. Now, ahead of the shoot, the team has locked another three actors.
The three stars include Bridgerton's breakout star Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton And Alfre Woodard. While the details of their roles are kept under wraps, we do know that the film will fall under the action-thriller genre. As per the report, The Gray Man is based on a 2009 novel of the same name by Mark Greaney. It revolves around an assassin and former CIA operative which will be essayed by Ryan Gosling. He will be hunted by Lloyd Hansen played by Chris Evans. Like other Russo Brothers project, this too has been largely kept under wraps.
Meanwhile, Regé-Jean Page seems to be basking in the sweet success of season 1 of Bridgerton. The hit Netflix show has made him a breakout star and its massive reception led to Netflix announcing season 2. Apart from signing for The Gray Man, Page also has signed Paramount’s untitled Dungeons & Dragons movie. For his performance in Bridgerton, Page has also received a SAG and an NAACP Image Award nominations.
