Grammys 2020: Shawn Mendes is all hearts, Camila Cabello celebrates being nominated with her 'favorite person'
Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have been nominated for Señorita at the Grammys 2020. The duo is up for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance award at the 62nd Grammy Awards.
The Grammys 2020 nominations were announced last night and the world of music celebrated. From Taylor Swift to the Jonas Brothers, everyone nominated took to Instagram to share some epic reactions on being nominated for the prestigious musical award. Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello were not far from celebrating their nomination on social media. The lovebirds have been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 62nd Grammy Awards. The duo has been nominated for their hit single Señorita, which paved the way for their love story.
The duo took to Instagram to share their excitement over being nominated together. Shawn shared a picture announcing his nomination with lady love and category. He showered Camila with love through the caption and thanked the Recording Academy for the nomination. On the other hand, Camila gave a shoutout to her beau through her caption.
She shared a similar nomination announcement picture and expressed her joy over being nominated with her "favorite person." Camila wrote, "nominated for a Grammy with my favorite person !!!!!!!! @shawnmendes EEEEEEEPPP!!!!!! congrats to all our friends who got nominated too" before she thanked the Recording Academy.

The Recording Academy stunned everyone after it gave Lizzo with eight nods in the Grammys 2020 nomination list while Taylor Swift bagged just three nominations and BTS were shut out from the nominations altogether. While Lizzo led the pack, Billie Eilish and rapper Lil Nas X were nominated in six categories. Lizzo, Billie and Nas are first-time Grammy nominees. Other nominees include Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Post Malone, Swae Lee and Beyonce.
