The Golden Globes 2020 nominations were announced a few hours ago and boy, what a surprise they have had in store. The 77th Golden Globes Awards sees a potpourri of names nominated. From Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio for Once Upon A Time in Hollywood to Scarlett Johansson from Marriage Story. Chernobyl and Big Little Lies stood out on the small screen front. While fans had dividing reactions to the nominations, Golden Globe 2020 nominees were on cloud nine after their name was flashed among the nominations. From Jennifer Aniston to Reese Witherspoon, Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez, stars had all kinds of reactions.
Aniston took to Instagram to share a video clip featuring herself with her The Morning Show co-star Reese Witherspoon. The Friends alums have been nominated Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series – Drama for the show. Jen shared a clip where both the stars go from curious to shocked and wrote, "The Green sisters on the internet this morning like... (shocked emoji and mind blown emoji)" before she congratulated the team.
Reese took to her Instagram to share a picture announcing Big Little Lies and The Morning Show's nomination at the Globes 2020 and poured her heart out. Given that both the shows are nominated for Best Television Series – Drama, Reese wrote, "What a great morning... to hear both @biglittlelies and @themorningshow are nominated for @GoldenGlobes. Thank you to the #HFPA for recognizing the teams of people who work so hard to bring these shows to life... it truly takes a village! I’m feeling enormously grateful to my cast and crew of both shows. What an honor to be acknowledged with you all!"

Taylor too couldn't hide her excitement over Cats' nomination. The singer, whose movie has bagged a nomination for Best Original Song – Motion Picture for the song "Beautiful Ghosts" (Cats) — Taylor Swift & Andrew Lloyd Webber, took to Instagram and penned a "purrfect" note. Acknowledging the nomination, Taylor wrote, "I woke up today to the news that Beautiful Ghosts is nominated for a Golden Globe - it’s so cool that one of the most fun, fulfilling creative experiences I’ve ever had is being honored in this way by the HFPA. I ended up spending many days on set watching the other performers do their scenes. Watching the character Victoria, played by @frankiegoestohayward inspired me so much and Beautiful Ghosts was the result. Congrats to my co-writer and buddy 4 life Andrew Lloyd Webber. This is just purrfect."
Jennifer Lopez joined the brigade of reactions. The singer-actress has been nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture in Hustlers. JLo took to Instagram and shared expressed her gratitude over bagging her first Golden Globes nominations in two decades. She wrote, "Hustlers was a labor of love, sweat and perseverance written, directed, produced, edited and starring a group of bad-ass women. I am proud and honored to represent them and this film!!!!"
