Gigi Hadid celebrates her first International Women's Day as a mother to daughter Khai on an inspiring note
Gigi Hadid took to her Instagram page to reveal what special activity she's doing with Khai on her daughter's first International Women's Day.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik became proud parents for the very first time when they welcomed daughter Khai in September of last year. For a few months, Gigi took a maternity leave to be by Khai's side and it was only recently that the 25-year-old supermodel headed back to work. However, Khai continues to be Hadid's top priority and her latest Instagram story is proof of the same.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Gigi revealed how she's celebrating International Women's Day this year, which is nothing short of special. Not only is March 8 of 2021, Khai's first International Women's Day but it's also a first for Hadid as a new momma. "Celebrating International Women's Day with Khai reading the story of Mae Jemison, the first African American woman in space," Gigi revealed as she decided to celebrate the special occasion on an inspiring note. The snap shared by Hadid sees the spotlight shining on the animated book titled Mae Among The Stars, written by Roda Ahmed and illustrated by Stasia Burrington. To make the picture more aesthetic, a baby tambourine was kept next to it with an intricate colourful bird design on top.
