Actor Dan Aykroyd from the original Ghostbusters film has officially confirmed that he will feature in the upcoming film titled Ghostbusters 2020. Dan said during an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he will be returning to the Ghostbusters 2020 film. Now, after the actor has confirmed to starring the Jason Reitman film, the fans and film audience are wondering if he were to return as his classic character of Ray Stantz in the film Ghostbusters 2020. The actor Dan Aykroyd also said during the interview on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast that he is not doing those many films like he did before.
But, the actor did admit to being in talks with the makers since the film, Ghostbusters 2020 was in the planning stage. Much to the fans and film audience's delight the actor Dan Aykroyd said that he will be featuring in the film Ghostbusters 2020 which is under Sony's hood. Jason Reitman's father Ivan Reitman had directed Ghostbusters in 1984 and Ghostbusters II in 1989. Now, the fans are eagerly looking forward to see what Jason Reitman does with Ghostbusters 2020. Also, with the news of Dan Aykroyd returning to the film, the fans are keeping very high expectations from the film.
The film, Ghostbusters 2020 will see Ant Man actor Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard playing crucial roles in the film. As per the latest reports, the director Jason Reitman has stated that the 2016 film, Ghostbusters reboot which had an all-female cast will not be included in the latest film, Ghostbusters 2020.
