Game of Thrones superfan Taylor Swift associates GoT ending with a breakup: There’s no good way for it to end

Game of Thrones ended its run on the small screen on a controversial note earlier this summer. The popular HBO show ended with Bran Stark ruling the six kingdoms, Jon Snow killing Daenerys and Arya travelling to the West of Westeros. Before you call us out for revealing spoilers: It has been four months since the show came to an end and if you did not know this, you are not a Game of Thrones fans. Coming back to the point. The finale led to a massive backlash with fans petitioning to remake the whole season. Several celebrities shared their reactions to the finale. Now, Taylor Swift is joining the list. 

It is no secret that she is a huge fan of the series. The international singer has previously confessed that a portion of her previous album Reputation is inspired by the popular HBO show. So what did TS think about the GoT's finale season? TayTay compared the ending of the show with a breakup. Yes, it's true. She confessed she has been thinking a lot about the series finale. 

In an interview with Rolling Stones, she shared, "Oh, my God. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about this. So, clinically our brain responds to our favourite show ending the same way we feel when a breakup occurs. I read that. There’s no good way for it to end. No matter what would have happened in that finale, people still would have been really upset because of the fact that it’s over."

Taylor also recalled the influence the show had on her previous album and said, "I like to be influenced by movies and shows and books and stuff. I love to write about a character dynamic. And not all of my life is going to be as kind of complex as these intricate webs of characters on TV shows and movies." She also said she "relates" to Daenerys.
