Game of Thrones: Sophie Turner’s recent post will make you miss Alfie Allen aka Theon Greyjoy even more
Today’s Game of Thrones episode saw the death of Theon Greyjoy who had a phenomenal character arc on the show and it was truly heart breaking to witness his death. This inevitably also marks the exit of Alfie Allen who essayed Theon’s character on the show and on this occasion, his co-star Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark on the show shared a heartbreaking tribute post for him which surely got us teary eyed.
The third episode of the final season of Game of Thrones has truly left us with mixed emotions. While we are rejoicing the defeat of the Night King at the hands of Arya Stark, we cannot help but mourn the characters who lost their lives in the Battle of Winterfell in today’s episode. Some of the characters whose death were truly sad to behold were Jorah Mormont, Lyanna Mormont, Beric Dondarrion, Edd and Melissandre. But if there was one death which truly affected us deeply, it was the demise of Theon Greyjoy at the hands of the Night King whom he fought bravely while defending Bran Stark.
Theon has had a wonderful arc on the show as the viewers went from detesting him to sympathizing him and finally rooting for him in the final battle. It was truly a sad moment to witness his death on the show. As a tribute, Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark on the show shared a heartfelt post for Theon Greyjoy and also Alfie Allen who portrayed the character in such a phenomenal way and will now be bidding goodbye to the show.
To Alfie and to Theon.... “You’re a good man”
Sophie shared a picture of Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy from today’s episode and captioned it as, “To Alfie and to Theon.... You’re a good man.” Well, this post has gotten us even more sad and we will surely miss Alfie Allen as Theon Greyjoy in the show. Today’s episode saw some major high moments like Arya Stark finally defeating the Night’s King and saving Bran’s life. We are now looking forward to the next episode which will see some serious drama unfold as Daenerys is all geared up to overthrow Cersei from the Iron Throne.
