Game of Thrones Season 8: The Mountain actor apologises to Nathalie Emmanuel for beheading Missandei
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays The Mountain in Game of Thrones, took to Instagram to apologise to Nathalie Emmanuel for beheading her character, Missandei in the latest GOT episode.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 saw two heartbreaking deaths that left Twitterati with a mixed bag of emotions. First, we had to bid farewell to Daenerys Targaryen's dragon, Rhaegal, who was shot at brutally by Euron Greyjoy. On the other hand, we also had to witness the beheading of Missandei, Queen Dany's beloved confidante. The beheading may have been at the order of Cersei Lannister but the actual deed was performed by The Mountain. Talking about the same was Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays The Mountain in GOT.
Taking to his Instagram page about Missandei's demise is the world's strongest man, who also plays the unbeatable monster on the HBO show. The actor shared a too cute to handle picture with Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei in Game of Thrones. It was his witty caption that became the cherry on top of the cake. Apologising to Missandei for beheading her, Hafþór wrote, "So sorry. Cersei made me do it. Hope we’re cool! @nathalieemmanuel." Check out the adorable photo of Hafþór and Nathalie below:
