Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3: Arya Stark saves the day and the Twitterati are totally celebrating it
The third episode of the final season of Game of Thrones saw one of the most epic battle sequences which was the Battle Of Winterfell which was literally the war between the living and the dead. While there were some major high moments in today’s episode, it was totally once again Arya Stark who emerged as the main hero of the episode and the netizens are already acknowledging it.
The moment we were all waiting for has finally arrived as we witnessed one of the major battle sequences of the season, the Battle of Winterfell where the troops in Winterfell had to shield themselves from one of their most terrifying enemy, the death itself. The battle began with Melisandre lighting the swords of the Dothraki soldiers to ward off the Wights. Soon we saw many goosebump worthy moments in the show but this time too, the person who emerged as the main hero of the battle is none other than our beloved Arya Stark.
*SPOILERS ALERT* If you have witnessed the magnificence of todays’ episode, we bet you could not stop cheering for Arya in the end as she clearly saves the day by destroying the Night King once and for all. Arya does the ultimate heroic deed in an attempt to save her brother Bran Stark from getting killed by the Night King which she clearly succeeds in doing. While we are already celebrating Arya in the episode, it seems the Twitterati is also agreeing with us as they have flooded the internet with memes and appreciation posts about Arya’s bravery.

While we are totally celebrating the defeat of the Night King and the victory of Winterfell, we cannot help but grieve for those who lost their lives in the battle. One of saddest death in today’s episode has to be of Jorah Mormont who died defending Daenerys from the White Walkers. If that was not enough to make us teary eyed, this episode also saw Theon Greyjoy die at the hands of the Night King while defending Bran Stark. We lost beloved characters like Lyanna Mormont, Beric Dondarrion, Edd and Melissandre in today’s episode too. While we still cannot stop reeling from the episode, we are already looking forward to the next episode which will be all about the clash between Daenerys Targaryen and Cersei Lannister.
