Game of Thrones: Richard Madden DECODES if Robb Stark could have come back as a White Walker
Richard Madden got candid about his character Robb Stark's horrific 'Red Wedding' death in Game of Thrones. The Eternals actor further decoded the famous GOT theory of the young wolf coming back as a White Walker. Read below to know more about what Richard had to say on the same.
One of the most horrific moments in Game of Thrones that is etched in every GOT fan's mind is the Red Wedding. The beloved Starks were betrayed by the Freys because the King in the North chose "love" over "duty". It's a wedding that everyone remembers and won't forget for a very long time. Richard Madden played the young wolf for three seasons and it helped establish his Hollywood career. Now, the actor is a Golden Globe winner for his performance in Bodyguard has officially entered the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) as Ikaris in The Eternals.
However, Game of Thrones is always a topic of discussion in Richard Madden's interviews. Recently, while appearing for Lynn Hirschberg's Screen Tests, Richard relived his gruesome yet glorious GOT death. "I love a good death. I've had a few very good deaths in my time. Game of Thrones, the Red Wedding was a pretty good one. I think it's got to be my favourite death," Madden revealed. Furthermore, the Rocketman star was asked to decode the famous GOT theory of whether Robb Stark could have come back as a White Walker.
To this, Richard shared, "That's what I think is the case. In the books, they cut my head off and they sowed it onto my wolf (Greywind) and they put the direwolf's head on my body because I was called the young wolf. Imagine if I came down with the White Walkers with the wolf's head on and there's just this wolfy human, that would be great."
