Game of Thrones: Nikolaj Coster Waldau aka Jaime is all praises for Lena Headey aka Cersei in a heartfelt post
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister in Game of Thrones, took to Instagram to share a series of behind-the-scenes selfies from his last ever sequence with Lena Headey aka Cersei Lannister. The actor called his GOT journey, a fun decade.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 was a heartbreaking mess that had its twists and turns. Some absolutely loved what unfolded in the Last War as Daenerys Targaryen reigned supreme and bought fire and mayhem to King's Landing. On the other hand, many believed that Cersei Lannister's death wasn't satisfactory at all. And then we have the character development of Jaime Lannister, which was questioned by many. However, a few were happy that Cersei and Jaime were at least reunited and died in each other's arms.
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime, took to Instagram to share a series of fun behind-the-scenes selfies with Lena Headey, who plays Cersei. The photos were taken after shooting for their last scene together, which also happens to be their death sequence. The duo, who are good friends in real life, were seen taking goofy selfies. Paying tribute to his amazing co-star, Nikolaj wrote, "The best, sweetest most wonderful sister from another mother @iamlenaheadey. That was a fun decade."

Meanwhile, Lena took to Instagram to pay tribute to Cersei aka the most intriguing character she has played to date.
Lena wrote, "There she goes. It’s been fun, and bonkers. I loved her. I am grateful for the opportunity. Massively thankful for your encouraging and supportive love along the way. And now her watch is ended (I know she’d never make it, knights watch wouldn’t have her .. but still..)"
The Lannister siblings will indeed be missed!
