Game of Thrones fans are PISSED with MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 for this reason; Find out

The MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 took place last night. Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones were the big winners at the summer awards show. The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie won three awards - Best Hero (Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Iron Man), Best Villain (Josh Brolin for Thanos) and Best Movie. Game of Thrones bagged the Best Show. The TV show was nominated for other segments as well, including Best Fight. Arya Stark's fight sequence from Battle of Winterfell was nominated for the category.

In what could be deemed as the biggest twist of GoT's final season, Maisie Williams' character Arya Stark left jaws dropping when she swung into the pierced the dagger into the Night King's heart, killing him and his army to bring an end to the winter. For several seasons, it was speculated that Jon Snow would kill the Night King. However, Arya was deemed the real hero following the episode. It became the talk of the town for days after the Battle of Winterfell episode premiered. 

However, the HBO show's epic fight scene lost the golden popcorn to Captain Marvel. MTV Movie & TV Awards gave the Best Fight award to Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) and Minn-Erva (Gemma Chan) fight sequence. While Marvel fans were cheering, Game of Thrones fans were not happy with the result. Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment over the result.
