The issue is with the ruthless decisions that were taken in line with the story line. Fans knew from the books how the end will unfold. Fans were sure that Bran will be sitting on a throne but couldn't believe it will happen like the way it did on the show. Fans just don't see a way how Bran could govern the last six remaining kingdoms in any way possible. Neither do they see a valid reason why any of the kingdoms would stay under the throne at King's landing.
