Game of Thrones' Battle of Winterfell and Avengers: Endgame has the ultimate STARK connection; Find Out How
SPOILER ALERT! Avengers: Endgame took place over the weekend. Game of Thrones' Battle of Winterfell unfolded a few hours ago. Both the events witnessed epic battles. And both the battles had a huge Stark connection. Read on to find out more.
SPOILER ALERT! Two of the crucial events took place this weekend. On one hand, we saw the Avengers - Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye - come together to fight Thanos one last time. On the other, the Battle of Winterfell took place today. The Lannister brothers joined hands with the Starks, Targaryens, Dothraki and others to fight the Night King and White Walkers through the long night. But the two events proved that the Starks are the ultimate rescuers.
If you haven't watched either of the events, we would suggest that you come back once you've seen Avengers: Endgame and Game of Thrones season 8 episode 4. For those who have watched it, you would understand what we're hinting at.
In Avengers: Endgame, Thanos meets his end in the hands of Tony Stark. The superhero brings the war between Thanos' army and the Avengers to an end with a snap. An Infinity Stone studded snap to be more precise. Our favourite Avenger sacrificed himself to save the world. The snap not only killed Thanos and his army, it also led to the death of Tony Stark.

Meanwhile, Arya Stark didn't necessarily die. However, she came close to her death during her attempt to kill the Night King. When Melisandre hinted that Arya would kill many, including people with blue eyes, our hearts skipped a beat. Not in our wildest dreams did we think that Arya would bring an end to the Battle of Winterfell. She pierced the dagger, given to her by Bran, into the Night King's chest to kill him.

Thus proving that Starks will always be out to the rescue when the world is ending.
