Charles Dance, who played Tywin Lannister in the earlier seasons of Game of Thrones revealed his reaction to watching the final episode of the iconic series. Read below to know what the actor had to say about the end of GOT.
This week saw the monumental end to one of the greatest television series of all time, Game of Thrones. *Spoilers Alert* Not only did we see the deaths of iconic characters like Cersei Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen but we also witnessed Bran Stark being crowned King of the Six Kingdoms. While there were some GOT fans who were satisfied with the ending, there was a majority of the fanbase that berated not only the last episode but the entirety of season 8.
Amongst the naysayers of Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 6 was former GOT star Charles Dance, who we remember as the ruthless Tywin Lannister, father to Cersei, Jaime and Tyrion. In an interview with Good Morning Britain, the actor revealed that was confused and a bit baffled by the ending. Charles' character Tywin may not have interacted with all the major Westerosi people like Daenerys Targaryen and hence, Dance was inquisitive of what happens to all of them. Charles shared, "I got to the very end and I thought, 'hmm, ok.' There’s little Arya (Maisie Williams) going off on a cruise somewhere; poor Jon’s (Kit Harington) gone back to the North and all the people left alive are sat around, 'shall we have a cup of tea?'"

"I thought, 'Agh, I don’t know,'" Charles concluded.
