Many fans are really disappointed with the ending of the epic fantasy saga Game of Thrones. According to the viewers, the last season of the show was not at all up to the mark and left everyone with a lot of rage and sadness. However, we all saw the face-off that we were waiting for since the first season- The Mountain and The Hound! The fans even wanted Arya Stark and Cersei Lannister sequence as little Arya wanted to kill Cersei with her own hands. Seems like Maisie Williams and Lena Headey had the same wish regarding the finale.

Talking to EW, both the stars expressed their disappointment from the two characters. Williams said, “I just wanted to be on set with Lena again, she’s good fun,” Williams explained. “And I wanted Arya to kill Cersei even if it means [Arya] dies too. Even up to the point when Cersei’s with Jaime I thought [while reading the script], ‘He’s going to whip off his face [and reveal its Arya]’ and they’re both going to die. I thought that’s what Arya’s drive has been.”

In fact, Lena also showed how disappointed she felt for the finale. She said, “I lived that fantasy until I read the script. There were chunky scenes and it was nothing that I had dreamt about. It was a bit of come down and you have to accept that it wasn’t to be. There is something poetic about the way it all happens in the end with her and Jaime.”
