The first episode of Game of Thrones season 8 aired on April 15 in India and created a storm on the internet. The episode 'Winterfell' was a reunion of all the characters including Jon and Arya, Bran and Jamie, Gendry and Arya, Tyrion and Sansa and many others. The series has been a roller coaster ride from Jon Snow's resurrection to Melisandre giving birth to a demon's shadow.

Talking about Jon Snow aka the King in the North has faced many challenges until now and is finally happy serving Daenerys Targaryen to fight the army of the dead. However, many fans think that he doesn't deserve the titles he got. While some think that he is fit for more. Well, here are some predictions for Jon Snow's future on the show.

DAENERYS AND JON MIGHT NOT END UP TOGETHER

There are high chances that the mother of dragons and Jon Snow might not end up together. As we saw in the first episode of season 8, Sam tells Snow about him being Aerys Targaryen and the rightful heir to the throne. Jon being Jon will go on a guilt trip for bedding her own aunt Dany. In fact, both of them would prefer taking over as the people were also disappointed as Jon gave up his title to serve Khaleesi. To conclude, these two might not have a future together.

WILL HE ACTUALLY BECOME THE FUTURE KING?

Jon Snow might be half Targaryen but he has an upbringing of Ned Stark, which means not good at political games. And we all know, Stark's don't end up well when they rude South. Just like, Jon’s Uncle Brandon Stark died before the birth of any of his nieces or nephews, as he went to King’s Landing to confront Aerys II about the abduction of Lyanna. And Ned and Brandon’s father Rickard also followed him, where Aerys burned him alive and forced Brandon to watch before he choked to death. In fact, Ned Stark also came to King’s Landing as Hand of the King. He got trapped in politics and was beheaded later, which also led his daughters to tragic childhoods. And the biggest fact is that Jon Snow does not want to rule as he said that on the show several times.

ONLY ONE WILL LIVE: DANY OR JON

Another very famous theory about Jon Snow is that after Daenerys gets pregnant, either he will die fighting in the war or she might die during childbirth, and only one of them will be left to raise the child in King’s Landing. There will be two battles in Game Of Thrones 8, one being at Winterfell with the dead army and the other being at King's Landing for the ultimate throne. There are predictions and speculations that Jon will surely die in one of them and Daenerys will grieve and regret his death with a child in her arms.

MIGHT GO BACK TO WINTERFELL

One more way of ending Jon's story is that Jon might sacrifice his claim on the Iron throne and go to rebuilt of what's left in Winterfell. The people of Winterfell need their king. If Sansa or Arya survive, and they want to live in their own house, then Jon has to accompany them. Well, there is a slight chance they may not accept him as he is also a Targaryen now. Well, let's see where fate takes him.
