Friends is hitting the theatres in November 2019; to screen eight iconic Thanksgiving episodes
After a few episodes of Friends were screened in US theatres back in September 2019 for the 25th anniversary of the legendary sitcom, eight iconic Thanksgiving episodes will be screened in theatres across the country. Read below for more details.
On September 22, 2019, Friends completed 25 years since the first episode premiered and changed the landscape of television forever! The six titular characters - Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Ross Geller - instantly became household names and 25 years later, we still love our friends. The craze for the legendary sitcom still continues thanks to constant binge-watching sessions. We laugh with them, we cry with them again and again and again. Earlier, for the 25th anniversary, 12 popular episodes were screened in US theatres across the country for the loyal fans to collectively join and celebrate the monumental occasion.
According to Entertainment Weekly, given the success of those screenings, November 2019 will see not one but eight iconic Thanksgiving episodes from Friends which will screen in theatres across the country. On November 24 and 25, Friends fans will get a chance to see the episodes (remastered in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative) on the big screen.
