The Fast and Furious franchise is here with a spin-off called Hobbs and Shaw and in the same, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are reprising their respective roles.

The Fast and Furious franchise is here with a spin-off called Hobbs and Shaw and in the same, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are reprising their respective roles.
The two hot heads join hands to take on an international terrorist named Brixton Lore (Idris Elba). The trailer starts off with a fight sequence inside a chambered facility with both Johnson and Statham putting out the bad guys with a bit of banter going on between the two. Later, we get to see Brixton who is genetically enhanced and describes himself as Black Superman (Elba) reveals about his “unfinished business” with Hobbs and Shaw.
Brixton also explains why Hattie (Kirby) stole a virus which can apparently wipe out half of the world. Yes, that is sounding like MCU's Thanos' goal. Later, we get to see some over the top action scenes which will make you go gaga over the same. Check out the trailer right here:
The movie is all set to release on August 2 in India and is directed by Deadpool 2 and Atomic Blonde's David Leitch and the script is written by Chris Morgan. Apart from the above-mentioned stars, the movie also features Vanessa Kirby as Hattie Shaw, sister to Statham's character. For the unversed, Hobbs & Shaw is set two years after the events of The Fate of the Furious.
