Dhanush is all set to present his first Hollywood venture, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir with India. The National Award winning actor's Hollywood flick has already made the rounds of a few international film festivals and he's got some amazing reviews. Now, the movie is ready to make its way to the Indian theatres. But before we can go ahead and book tickets for the movie, Dhanush and the team of The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir have released the trailer today. The makers had released the poster yesterday, announcing the arrival of the trailer today.
The trailer reveals that Dhanush is a con artist. He is a magician who tricks audiences and loots them. His aim in life is not to be poor. Soon, he decides to head off to Paris. Little does he know that there's an adventure waiting for him. He meets a woman at a home decor store. He asks her to meet him at the Eiffel Tower. But God had other plans. He reaches England accidentally and the movie thereon sees the problems he faces through his journey.

The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir is based on the book of the same name penned down by Romain Puértolas. It tells the tale of an Indian street magician's journey to Paris. Dhanush's character finds himself hopping on a crazy journey. He deals with many problems including refugees. Dhanush rubs shoulders with Bérénice Bejo, Erin Moriarty, Barkhad Abdi and Gérard Jugnot. The music has been composed by Nicolas Errèra. Vincent Mathias is the cinematographer of the film. It has been extensively been shot in India, France, Italy and Libya.
