Emma Stone INJURES shoulder after she slips at home; Cruella filming halted?
Emma Stone will soon be seen in the Cruella, based on the villain of 101 Dalmatians. However, the Oscar-winning actress has injured her shoulder ahead of the filming of the movie.
Emma Stone has been as busy as a bee. The Oscar-winning actress was last seen in the acclaimed movie The Favourite. Remember, the movie took the awards season by storm earlier this year. She played Abigail, a servant to Lady Sarah. Her performance won her the nominations at the Academy Awards, BAFTA and Golden Globes this year. She is currently working on Cruella, a movie based on the infamous villain from 101 Dalmatians. The 30-year-old turns towards the dark side as she portrays the role of Cruella de Vil in the standalone movie. However, the actress has recently injured herself.
As per Entertainment Tonight, the Spider-Man actress has injured her shoulder. The actress did not injure herself on the sets of the movie. A source told the international outlet that the incident took place at her home. Stone hurt her shoulder after she slipped on a floor at her home. The insider did not elaborate on the details about the incident. The source did confirm that Stone will be sporting sling until she recovers from her injury.
The question arises if her injury would impact the filming of Cruella. Thankfully not. The source confirms that the production will not be impacted as the filming has not begun yet. "They are still in pre-production and she’ll begin once healed," the source told the publication.

As for Cruella, the movie is set to release in 2020. Stone will star alongside Men In Black: International star Emma Thompson. The movie will explore the origin story of Cruella de Vil and it is helmed by director Craig Gillespie.
