Many MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans were slightly disappointed with the fact that the "multiverse", which began to sow roots in Avengers: Endgame, had not been thoroughly dissected upon in Spider-Man: Far From Home. But worry not, because Stephen Strange aka Doctor Strange is here to slay! Along with Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlett Witch! At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, during Marvel Studios Hall H panel, Kevin Feige revealed Phase 4's lineup which includes the sequel to Doctor Strange (2016). Benedict Cumberbatch and director Scott Derrickson were a part of the presentation to talk about the upcoming sequel.
Aptly titled Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, Benedict is back as the powerful sorcerer but he's not alone as Elizabeth Olsen will also play a key role in the MCU film. Scott, who is back to direct the Doctor Strange sequel made another surprise announcement about the upcoming movie. Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness will be MCU's first horror-genre film. Derrickson has earlier directed several horror movies like Hellraiser: Inferno (2000) The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005).

Meanwhile, Elizabeth will also be a part of WandaVision, which is an upcoming series based on Wanda Maximoff and Vision, who were love interests in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
