Disney finds its Prince Eric for The Little Mermaid live action film in THIS actor; Find out

Disney was searching for their Prince Eric for The Little Mermaid live-action film since a very long time. They have now locked in Ashes in the Snow star Jonah Hauer-King to star in The Little Mermaid live-action film. Right from Cameron Cuffe to Harry Styles was rumoured to star in this film. But, all the rumours were sent to their respective graves by Variety, as they announced the casting of the male lead and stated that director Rob Marshall is going to kick-start the production next.

The live-action film has already gained a lot of attention for its stellar cast that includes Halle Bailey, Javier Bardem, Daveed Diggs, Melissa McCarthy among others. Now, the inclusion of Jonah-Hauer as Prince Eric has completed the squad. Considering, this is a huge project for Disney that is why they got Mary Poppins Returns, Into the Woods and Chicago director Rob Marshall on-board.

Marshall has also revealed his enthusiasm about the task of presenting this classic tale creatively for this new generation. In a talk with ComicBook, Marshall said, “There are things I’ve learned about how you have to work to integrate songs into story, and how it has to feel earned. It can’t just be sort of put there, placed there because you feel there should be a song.”
