Diplo JOKES Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner took his phone away during their French wedding
Diplo had ruined Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's first wedding ceremony at a Las Vegas chapel by live-streaming the entire thing on his Instagram page. However, this time Joe and Sophie made sure no live-streaming would be done by Diplo for their second wedding ceremony in the South of France.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner wanted their first wedding ceremony, which took place at a Las Vegas chapel, with an Elvis Presley impersonator officiating their nuptials to be a secret. However, Diplo was not given a memo and he ended up live-streaming the entire thing on his Instagram page. While one would assume Diplo to not be a part of Joe and Sophie's more elaborate and traditional second wedding ceremony in the South of France, the DJ was very much a part of the nuptials.
Joe and Sophie said their I Do's again on June 29, 2019, in Sarrians in Southern France. In attendance was the entire Jonas clan including Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. Also, a part of the wedding was Sophie's best friend and Game of Thrones co-star Maisie Williams. We were hoping for some live-stream love from Diplo, who was a part of the wedding as well, but such was not the case. Jophie took extra precautions to make sure that Diplo would do no such thing. All the DJ got out of the ceremony was one photo, which was of himself and he shared it on his Instagram page.
However, it was his caption that had everyone rolling around in laughter. Diplo wrote, "This is the only photo I got from Joe and Sophie Turner Jonas wedding because they took my phone from me and put in a holding cell during the ceremony. Heard it was lovely tho."
This makes us adore Jophie even more!
