Fans particularly noticed Dakota's smile as the actress who had a prominent tooth gap earlier was missing. The actress has not been hesitant to show the tooth gap. However, her latest outing grabbed many eyeballs and had also become a huge discussion on Twitter. Dakota recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and explained the missing tooth gap.
Dakota said, "The fact that this is a newsworthy event in our world right now is a pretty 'Chaka Khan' to me. I had a permanent retainer since I was 13 and it was just glued to the back of my teeth. And I had a lot of neck problems recently so my orthodontist decided that it would be a good idea to take it off and see if my jaw sort of expanded. And it helped me and my gap closed by itself. I'm really sad about it too." A totally confused Jimmy Fallon asked her is that even a thing? "Yeah,That is a real thing," replied Dakota.
"So, if your neck bothers you it might be your teeth?" asked Fallon. An amused Dakota said, "Well, as you grow as a human being...your skull expands and jaw and your teeth move. You know, your teeth don't look like when you were a baby." "They do, actually. I was born with veneers," Fallon said.
She then went on to actually tap on Jimmy Fallon's tooth to check if one was fake or not. And Jimmy then went on to do the same in the hilarious video. "I'm sad about my gap tooth, too. So, I would really appreciate some privacy in this time," Dakota said which cracked up Jimmy Fallon.
