Fans particularly noticed Dakota's smile as the actress who had a prominent tooth gap earlier was missing. The actress has not been hesitant to show the tooth gap in her movies and it has been on display. However, Dakota's latest outing grabbed many eyeballs and also became a huge discussion on Twitter.
According to a report in E!News, Dakota underwent some dental work and closed her tooth gap. Naturally, there were reactions on Twitter and her fans collectively mourned it. One netizen wrote, "woke up to find out dakota johnson no longer has her tooth gap, i'll cry myself back to sleep." While another fan tweeted, "I just found out dakota johnson fixed her tooth gap and i'm kinda sad because that was like her brand but if it makes her feel better i'm all for it u go queen."

Dakota had earlier even joked about her tooth gap. In 2017, the actress had revealed that her party trick is stuffing small objects between her teeth. At the time she joked it was her "only skill." She had also joked about the objects that used to be able to fit into her gap tooth. They include, but are not limited to, playing cards, toothpicks, credit card, a twig and USD 1,100.
