In the trailer of The Current War, we get an in-depth look at the "war of the currents". The storyline is based on true events as Edison tried to use DC technology to introduce light in Manhattan. But he finds a rival in businessman Westinghouse and his partner Tesla with the latter's AC electrical current, which is a more deadly approach.
