For the longest time, the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans have discussed Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) as an LGBTQ superhero. Marvel Studios has also addressed having LGBTQ representation in the MCU. Hence, the Hall H crowd in San Diego Comic-Con 2019 erupted in loud cheers when Tessa shared some interesting details about Valkyrie's storyline in Thor: Love and Thunder. "As a new king [of Asgard], she [Valkyrie] needs to find her queen. That will be the first order of business," Thompson revealed.

Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, who made the major announcements regarding the Phase 4 lineup during Marvel Studios Hall H panel was asked about Tessa's comment. Kevin stated, "It will be the case not just with her [Valkyrie] but with other characters in some of the movies we talked about today." Rumours have also been rife of an LGBTQ character in The Eternals, which was also formally announced during the panel. Feige confirmed that The Eternals will indeed be having an LGBTQ character.

Many fans are guessing that it will be Richard Madden's character Ikaris who could be the LGBTQ character that Kevin is mentioning about. But, we will have to wait and watch to see if that is indeed true!
