Chris Pratt who recently began production of his latest series The Terminal List, took to his social media to express how grateful he was for the opportunities Hollywood had to offer. Recalling his journey in a sentimental post the 41-year-old actor explained where he started off from. The photo he shared shows clapperboard from the set of the conspiracy-thriller drama, which also stars Riley Keough. Pratt at the age of 19, used to wait tables until he was discovered by an actress who saw the potential in him.
The actor penned his emotional message by revisiting memories from ages ago. He explained how it’s ‘hard’ for him to believe how 20 years ago he was living in a van and moved to the city of Los Angeles with just a ‘duffel bag’ carrying his clothes and rollerblades. “It’s hard to believe. 20 years ago I was a dude with a dream living in a van. I moved to LA with one sweater, two pairs of shorts and some rollerblades in a duffel bag,” he captioned a photo. Pratt further explained his forthcoming series is based on Jack Carr’s bestseller and would be out on Amazon.

Pratt added how grateful he is for the doors Hollywood opened for him. Regardless of the ‘weirdos’ he is said he is still fortunate for everything he had the chance to achieve. “Needless to say, this town has been good to me. I’m grateful. Hollywood gets a bad wrap. We have our share of weirdos and no shortage of whackos. But it makes room for talent, hard work and a willingness to never be stop learning,” the actor noted.
